Welcome back!
I’ve discovered a great new tool to help you all stay in-tune with the events in class – Swaggle. It’s a text alert system that many have already subscribed to. If you have not done so, yet, and with to, just look for the yellow box on the left hand side of your class page and follow instructions. In no time, homework, announcements, and other class business will be automatically texted to your cellular phone.
Enjoy!
Don’t forget the quiz on the Dec. of Ind. and Revolution on Thursday the 17th.
The link for the questions has been added to your class page under “Handouts – Mo”. It is called “Wiki Project Questions“.
Also, on the left hand side of the page, under the textbooks, I have added a link to the chat room program I told you about, “Chatzy“
The folders have been created. Please put each of the pages you’ve made into your corresponding folder.

Due tomorrow:
Guided reading worksheet for chapter 10, sections 2 & 3 and Enlightenment journal prompt.
To access the online version of your World History book, click on the picture of the text on your class page on my site – either Global Studies or Honors Global Studies.
Enter the following for:
username: GWHMT
password: pRanud4usp
These were both generated by the site, and ARE CASE SENSITIVE. Sorry about them being difficult to remember.
So far, I am finding that this online text is best viewed using Internet Explorer. There are known issues with Safari. There were with Mozilla’s Firefox, but I was informed those appear to be fixed. (Sorry again. I, too, believe them to be superior browsers.)
There also is a known issue when trying to view this on a Mac using the OSX operating system. There is a free plug-in you can supposedly download to fix this problem. I will post this fix once I have tried it at home. (The school server blocks any freeware download attempt.)
GS: Pandora writing due
HGS: Pandora and Prometheus assignments due
read pp. 182 – 190, 198 – 200, 228 – 229
Also, I will hold a review session Thursday, 9th period, for everyone, but primarily for those who had to miss this week for Junior Mentoring.
